Frequently Asked Questions

What are Open Graph meta tags?
Open Graph meta tags are HTML meta tags introduced by Facebook that control how URLs are displayed when shared on social media. They define the title, description, image, and content type shown in the preview card. Key tags include og:title, og:description, og:image, og:url, and og:type.
How do I fix missing OG tags?
Add the required meta tags inside your HTML <head> section. Use this tool to enter your URL or manually fill in the fields, then click "Copy to Clipboard" to get the exact <meta> tag HTML. Paste it into your page's <head> and you're done. At minimum, set og:title, og:description, and og:image.
What is the recommended og:image size?
The recommended image size is 1200×630 pixels (1.91:1 aspect ratio) for optimal display on Facebook and LinkedIn. Twitter/X uses the same ratio for summary_large_image cards. Minimum acceptable size is 600×315 pixels. Use JPG or PNG format, and keep file size under 5 MB.
